Rooting for Literacy: Our Quarterly Classroom Grant for Teachers

Exceptional literacy instruction changes lives. To support your incredible work, we award ten educators every quarter a $100 literacy product grant to choose custom Science of Reading resources directly from our store.

Who We’re Rooting For

Our mission is to ensure all students can read and write so they can thrive in school and beyond. To support the heavy lifting you do every day, this quarterly grant is open to:

  • Classroom Teachers, Special Educators, & MLL Teachers (Pre-K through Grade 12)

  • Reading Specialists, Literacy Coaches, & Interventionists

  • Higher Education Professors (looking for physical models to showcase in Science of Reading coursework)

  • Literacy Consultants & School Advisors (who need high-quality tools to demonstrate during professional development)

  • Homeschool Educators, Tutors, & Parents

Grant Cycles & Deadlines

To keep the momentum going, our grant awards align directly with the academic calendar. Once you submit your application, your entry automatically carries over into the next quarter—there is no need to reapply every cycle!

  • Quarter 1 Cycle: Entries close March 25 | Recipients Announced April 1

  • Quarter 2 Cycle: Entries close June 25 | Recipients Announced July 1

  • Quarter 3 Cycle: Entries close Sept 25 | Recipients Announced Oct 1

  • Quarter 4 Cycle: Entries close Dec 25 | Recipients Announced Jan 1

Note: Recipients are chosen randomly from our active pool and will be notified directly via email. Selected recipients will have 48 hours to reply to our notification email to confirm their shipping details before a runner-up is randomly drawn.
