Observation & Feedback Tool for Foundational Literacy Instruction
Developed by educators at The Compass School, this observation tool is a valuable resource for assessing foundational literacy instruction in K-2 classrooms and K-12 intervention settings. After a year of testing and revision, the tool is designed to identify and promote the key components of effective literacy teaching. It can be used for both formal and informal observations, providing non-evaluative or evaluative feedback to support teacher growth and development.
