Amy Goldblatt is an elementary educator and literacy leader with over a decade of experience in evidence-based instructional delivery, teacher mentorship, and resource development. Currently serving as a Foundational Literacy Trainer and Practicum Supervisor with Root Literacy Design (RLD), Amy facilitates professional development and oversees clinical practicums for K-12 educators. She specializes in providing the diagnostic-prescriptive feedback necessary to ensure instructional fidelity for diverse learners, including those with dyslexia.

A vocal advocate for the Science of Reading, Amy is committed to scaling evidence-based practices throughout the New England region. At The Compass School, she serves as a Model Teacher, maintaining an "open-door" classroom where she regularly hosts and debriefs with regional educators seeking to observe high-level Structured Literacy in action. Her leadership extends to the broader literacy community through frequent presentations at the Rhode Island Science of Reading (RISOR) Conference and her role as a Resource Architect for RLD. She also served as a lead pedagogical consultant for Root Compass, trialing and beta-testing the diagnostic assessment platform in her own classroom to help revise and refine its impact.
